POLL: What Should I Be For Halloween??

What Are Some Good Halloween Costumes For Me??
No witches, ghosts, skeletons, pumpkins or anything common. No Princess costumes or animals (like a cute cat, but no). Nothing like a character from Hairpray, harry Potter, or High School Musical/Camp Rock. Nothing horror or adult-ish. No fairies. Something unusual and unique. I am 12.
Once I was a pumpkin, it was cute! And a candy corn!
Those are cool, and un-common.
This costume should be unusual but on a website or in a catalog.

Lillian Vernon normally has cute costumes but I didn’t see any on the site. They may not be out yet.

Another idea if all else fails is wear an all pink sweat suit or outfit and tie a shoe to your head and you can be bubble gum on the bottom of a shoe.

Does anyone know how to recreate the costumes of the Trannies from the Rocky Horror Picture Show?

I’m looking for a picture in order to make the different parts of the Trannies’ costumes. I haven’t been able to locate a picture visable enough to see the details. If anyone can help me, it is most appreciated. Thanks!

tuxedos with bright metallic cummerbunds, bow ties and sometimes vests, sunglasses and party hats sometimes blow horns, shiny black shoes wild or slicked back hair. Hope that helps. I can’t find any pics.

Do you think that the Scream movies are scary?

I don’t know why it is, but I get absolutely terrified when I watch any of the Scream movies(and I watch them A LOT since their my all time favorite horror/suspense movies)! The idea of a killer in that costume freaks the crap out of me. I LOVE the movies. Everyone else thinks they aren’t scary, but instead, actually funny! Maybe its just me, but I honestly think of Ghostface killing me way more than any other horror movie killer. So, do you think the Scream trilogy is scary? I’m 15 by the way.

PS- which movie is your favorite? I love the original. Can’t wait for Scream 4!! :D

ADULTS ONLY QUESTION: what are the scariest HORROR films you have seen this decade?

reason i said adults only is because i dont want kids answering with movies that obviously would scare them. im looking for Horror movies that give GROWN MEN the shakes. presumably monster films with lots of gore from THIS DECADE. classics dont scare me

heres a list of what i already seen:
Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2, Halloween 1& 2, the others, the descent, dog soldiers, land of the dead, the uninvited, cloverfield, quarentine, paranormal activity, the mist, FEAST, hills have eyes 1&2, 30 days of night, 28 days/weeks later.

low budget movies can count too but they have to be gorey frightning and NOT CORNY lol
i remember a low budget movie i watched that took place in a prison with this mexican demon monster feasting on all the prisoners and guards which scared the shit outa me for a low budget flick. yea it was a guy in a costume but it was a damn good costume lol

Is it good to hide under someones bed?

I have this idea for a girl I used to go out with a long time ago. It is her birthday in April and I want to surprise her.

I am not sure how she still feels about me, but I left the country for a couple of years and lost contact with almost everyone, because I wanted to be left alone.

Anyway, she is a fan of horror movies, so I thought I would scare and impress her, by secretly entering her place (she knows only I know how to enter the place with a credit card). So I was thinking of hiding under her bed until she falls asleep then moaning softly till I hear her waking then be silent again.

Then after a couple of hours doing a really loud evil laugh and jumping on the bed while wearing a costume. Would this impress her or will she call the police?

Obviously I would take the mask off to let her know it was me and it was just a surprise.

Go ahead and try it. See where that will get you.

How can I pull together a ‘Columbia’ costume to go to a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening?

Yeah, I’ve got about a month, but I’d rather make the costume with bits and bobs I find about than buy one online, which just seems dull and impersonal. So yeah, ideas on how to do that?

It depends on how accurate you really want to go, but you should easily be able to get a fairly accurate costume together. The main pieces you need are a sequined bustier/tube top, some high waisted shorts, a sparkly red bowtie, a sparkly top hat, sparkly tux jacket, tights, blue socks and sparkly mary janes.
I don’t know if you can sew, but even with the basics you could easily modify quite a few things to work out!
You should check a thrift shop because they tend to have weird stuff with sequins. If you could find the tube top you could easily attach some sequins to it. The black shorts need stripes of metallic ribbon, which you could also easily sew on, even by hand :)
Then if you got some red sequined ribbon you can make a bow tie out of that. The top hat could probably be found at party city, along with the tights, and maybe even the socks.
For the shoes you could easily get away with some plain black mary janes, but for an extra kick, you could glue sparkles onto them. The last thing is the sparkly jacket, which I’m really not sure about, but with just a yellow suit jacket you could add some sparkles and sequins and it should look fine.
The only thing now is to do your make-up and find a wig if you really want.
