My 11 year old daughter is now in adult sizes. She wears a B cup bra. We are looking for a Halloween costume appropriate for her age and sizes. Everything we find is fairly slutty even for an open minded person. I just want her to be able to have fun; these costumes can wait for high school at the earliest.

Face painting is one of the cherished activities of festivals, carnivals, parades and events across the country. Stencils and stamps are probably the easiest way for beginners to successfully do face painting. The stencils themselves can be cleaned with alcohol or wet wipes between paintings for sanitary reasons. A brush is then used to apply a new color or set of colors for the next child. Different colors can be used for separate parts of the stamp. For example, a butterfly can be outlined in blue and filled in with yellow. The stamp is then pressed against the person’s cheek. This is a good way to get the lines just right each time.

Many people who do face painting will do everything with a paint brush. Whiskers, dog eyes, hearts, rainbows and Spider Man are all popular. For the 4th of July, a face could be painted completely with red, white and blue stars. For Easter, decorative eggs, bunny rabbits, flowers and baskets can all easily be painted onto the face. Try hearts for Valentine’s Day, or a candy cane face with alternating red and white stripes for a wild, Christmas gathering. People will surprise face painters with creative requests, however. Be prepared to paint just about any character, emblem or color imaginable.

Halloween certainly boasts the biggest number of face painted ghouls, vampires, monsters and more. For the Hulk, one can simply paint their faces green. You can also use a simple Halloween theme, as well. Try bats, a spider web face, or an eerie yellowish tint for a witch’s face. Zombies and ghouls can cast sunken features under their eyes and paint blood around their mouths. Of course, the characters don’t have to be scary. It’s not hard to paint a clown face, with a little patience for painting a giant mouth, or using a solid color to enhance a costume, such as a giant raisin, bear or anything else one can build or find a costume for. Many Halloween costumes will provide directions for adding face painting. There are also plenty of kits in stores or on the web, which are geared for specific characters, or that come with all the colors for one’s own creativity to come out. In general, these paints are a little thicker and harder to remove than the typical face paint used for your everyday festival or event.

Ok, so I have a dwarf rabbit and he likes to go everywhere with me. School football games, on walks (he has a leash) fred meyer, walmart.. you get the point.

What About a Grease Costume for Halloween?

USA, the fifties. Danny and Sandy met at Rydell High School. They were in love last summer but Danny does not admit it to anyone. Danny treats Sandy as an unknown person. Sandy will be looking to win back the love of Danny and will spectacularly the day of the Rydell High School Fancy Fair.

In the year 1978, one of the most famous movie musicals in the USA is brought to the screen.

Grease is one of the events, the most significant film of the late seventies and will affect a worldwide generation of teenagers. We loved Grease; we wanted to look like Sandy, Rizzo, Marty, Danny, Keneckie or Fonzy. If you were a teenager thirty years ago, you surely sang “You’re The One That I Want” and “Summer Nights”.

Halloween is the opportunity to realize our dreams. I dreamed to look like Rizzo. If I choose not to dress a witch costume for this Halloween, I probably will choose Rizzo’s costume.

Grease is full of characters and then of different costumes based on the fifties teenagers clothing:

Sandy is blonde, naive and she fell in love with Danny.

Rizzo, leader of the Pink Ladies, is a teenager who lives free according to her own laws. She broke with Danny and is Keneckie’s girlfriend.

The Pink Ladies: Frenchie, Marty, Jane are the Pink Ladies. They are generally frivolous, only interested by themselves and want to please the T-Birds.

Danny is the hero of the movie. He is the leader of the T-Birds, rebels of Rydell High School. He is in love with Sandy, but refuses to admit it.

Keneckie is Danny’s best friend; he is also the second T-Birds leader. He lives a passionate love story with Rizzo.

The T-Birds: Sonny, Doody and Fonzy.

If you want to dress like a Grease character for Halloween 2007, you can either buy costumes or make them yourself.

No witches, ghosts, skeletons, pumpkins or anything common. No Princess costumes or animals (like a cute cat, but no). Nothing like a character from Hairpray, harry Potter, or High School Musical/Camp Rock. Nothing horror or adult-ish. No fairies. Something unusual and unique. I am 12.

How to Make Your Halloween Decoration

Halloween decoration gives life to the party. It enhances the ambiance of the occasion giving your guests that thrilling atmosphere. Do you think that the Scream movies are scary?

I don’t know why it is, but I get absolutely terrified when I watch any of the Scream movies(and I watch them A LOT since their my all time favorite horror/suspense movies)! The idea of a killer in that costume freaks the crap out of me. I LOVE the movies. Everyone else thinks they aren’t scary, but instead, actually funny! Maybe its just me, but I honestly think of Ghostface killing me way more than any other horror movie killer. So, do you think the Scream trilogy is scary? I’m 15 by the way.

Costumes have come a long way since then. There are many different materials and styles to choose from. We no longer have to put our children in a plastic heatbox, but we must also remember we have to keep the children warm. Many of us live in areas where Halloween can be a frosty night where our childrens teeth are chattering while they going door to door. The best thing you can do is make sure you buy the costume big enough to put a full warm wardrobe underneath, but not so big that they are tripping over it. A turtle neck and sweatpants or leggings are a wonderful idea.

Fancy shoes for those princess dresses are a waist, as most kids don’t make it three to four houses before the shoes are pinching their feet and they want to take them off. We know what that’s like, don’t we ladies? Army boots don’t let the poor guys ankles bend and they and up crabby and unhappy. Gym shoes are the best, they are safe and comfortable for running house to house.

For infants, a one piece bunting style costume are one of the best ideas. Make sure there are no pieces in the costume that may harm the child. The companies may put the product out there, but it is your job as a parent to make sure it is safe. Don’t bother dressing an infant in princess costumes or pirate costumes that will be uncomfortable for them, they will only cry the whole time. Instead think of a nice warm fuzzy animal or a sweat pea. Most of those types of costumes comes with bonnets that will also keep the infants head covered and warm.

Most of the time a toddler has an idea of what they want to be, it’s just a matter of guiding them in the right direction so you both will be happy. These little guys and gals are in the in-between stage where the little froggie costume would still be cute, but you could also do the fire fighter or cow girl. Once again remember their comfort and warmth for the long hall around the neighborhood.

Young boys and girls like to look, “Cool for School” and those Halloween parties. Most schools will not allow masks and that’s what most of the boys costumes have. In this case a cool fighter pilot or astronaut with official looking nasa patches would be great for your little guy, and an easy to put on princess gown or cheerleader costume would be great for the girls.

What ever size child you have, please make sure they are warm and have a bright enough light with them to keep them safe. People get a little crazy at that time rushing from house to house and driving to neighborhoods they are not familiar with to find that pot of gold for their kids. Keeping them safe is the best thing you can do for them.

Those Were the Days: How Halloween Used to be Celebrated Like in Good Old days

Autumn: the end of summer, and the beginning of the festive season for which every one of us waits throughout the years! The cool temperatures, the majestic mountains and the splendid landscapes all add their individual touches to enhance the beauty of the season. And in fact, all these are symbolic of something special that is about to arrive: yep, I am talking about Halloween.

It is something that children wait for throughout the year; after all, can they really forget about the ‘trick of treat’ method or that bag full of candies that they are going to get? In this article I will tell you how the present-day Halloween has changed drastically from the tradition.

Those were the days…the old timers would reminisce, when Halloween was celebrated in a much simpler way than now. As a matter of fact, ‘tricking or treating’ is not much in vogue now; it’s been replaced by lavish fancy dress parties. But the old timers would remember that there was a time when no one could even think of Halloween without the custom of ‘tricking of treating’, especially children for whom, it was like an excuse to eat candies to their hearts’ content!

In those days, children would go around the neighborhood to ‘trick’ their neighbors, and they were in turn treated with a warm smile and plenty of delicious goodies. Children used to collect those goodies in large brown bags that they used to carry with themselves. The goodies would range from apples to candies, popcorn balls, etc.

Back then, people didn’t spend too much money on costumes; they made them on their own. Children were usually the ones who used to get excited at the idea of creating scary Halloween costumes, and they would dig through the pile of the old clothes and other belongings of their parents in order to find suitable items for the costume!

Times have changed now. There is the difference of heaven and hell between the candies of then and now. Then, the candies were homemade and hence completely safe to take. Nowadays, you cannot put any candy in your mouth without inspecting it first for any sharp or harmful objects! There are so many stores displaying a vast range of Halloween costumes that children rarely need to make anything on their own. Nevertheless, some things have still not changed! The fun and excitement about the impending Halloween party is still there in the hearts of young and old alike, the scary part is also there in Halloween parties, and the spooky and ghoulish delicious Halloween recipes too haven’t left us!

Even though we have shifted a lot from tradition, the fun is still there, and that is what Halloween is all about, right?
