Easter is just round the corner and is one of the most anticipated holidays for kids and grown ups alike. If you are hosting an Easter party at your home, you must have realised by now how much work will go into the making of a super get together- right from food, decorations and activities, there is lot to do!
Decorations play an important role in setting the mood of any party, and Easter party decorations offer a large scope for the amalgamation of creativity and colour to generate a festive atmosphere.
Easter Balloons and Banners
Balloons and banners are a great way to decorate an Easter party venue. From plain balloons in different colours to butterfly or dragonfly shaped ones, you can tie them up singly or in bunches to the back of chairs and even outside in the porch. Banners, too lighten up the event with inspirational and lively messages.
Cut-Outs to Bring in the Cheer
Have paper cut-outs of spring flowers or Easter egg and bunnies hang outside in the front porch and inside too. This will define the theme of your party and make for a colourful and fun ambiance.
Easter Bunnies as Decorative Prop
Having an Easter mural hanging on a wall is a great way of telling children about the significance of Easter holidays. You can make bunnies by yourself from cardboards and hang them on the walls and cabinets, or place them on tables.
Table Decoration Ideas
You can start your table decoration by covering it with a pink, blue or yellow tablecloth. Have a bunch of beautiful pink rosebuds adorn the centre of the table. For table accessories, there is a great variety when it comes to napkins, dinner plates and cups. You may opt for plastic tableware with either spring flower decorations on them or have tableware with Easter blessings printed on them.
Egg Decorations
You can decorate the eggs by writing the names of your guests on them with a paint marker. Place all the eggs in an egg holder (you can create your own using egg cartons and painting them in gold or silver). How about placing some Easter grass under each egg?
Easter Party Favours
Among the most important party supplies you’ll need are the party favours for the different games you organise. You can have Easter baskets filled with goodies like bunnies and candy. Bunny ears are a hot favourite among kids- see them running around wearing these with glee! Painted egg candles and bubbles are other good favour items.
With the right decoration items and supplies, you can have an enjoyable party and holiday season!

Costume for Halloween for baby?
This is my daughter’s first Halloween. She will be 8 months. I am trying to find a cute little costume for her. I think she will be a ladybug, butterfly, piggy, or something to that line. Something that is cute. What will your child be if you dress them up? Will you be taking them trick or treating or to some festival? I would like to dress my LO up and take her to take pictures in her costume.

This is my son’s first Halloween as well and he will be close to 8 months. I’m definately going to get pictures before Halloween in his costume and probably take him to a kid’s pumpkin place the day before so he can look around. Halloween night we may try to go trick or treating so I can get some candies.
